Fees and Refunds

Tuition Fees

The total tuition fees vary depending on the course, study mode, and eligibility for any subsidies or credit transfers. Domestic students will be advised of their specific course fees during the enrolment process.

Payment Structure

To secure your place in a course, a  deposit of AUD 500 is required at the time of enrolment. The remaining tuition fee can be paid through an approved instalment plan, which is discussed and agreed upon before the course commences.

Students will not be formally enrolled or granted access to classes, training materials, or assessment activities until the deposit is received.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Students seeking RPL will be charged 50% of the unit cost per unit successfully recognised through this process. RPL fees are payable before assessment begins.

Credit Transfer

NDIA recognises equivalent units completed at other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Credit Transfer is offered free of charge, and may reduce the course duration and total fees payable.

Fee for Service

Students who do not meet criteria for any subsidy programs will be charged at the full fee rate as outlined on each course page.

Refund Policy

NDI has a fair and transparent refund policy to protect both the institution and the student. Refunds will be processed under the following guidelines:

  • Full refund  if the student withdraws 14 days or more before the course start date.

  • 50% refund  if the student withdraws within 13 days to 1 day before the course begins.

  • No refund will be given once the course has commenced.

  • If NDI cancels a course, students are entitled to a full refund, including the deposit.

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Enrolments Office. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days.

Payment Assistance

Flexible payment plans are available for eligible students. Contact the NDI Admissions Team for personalised advice on suitable payment options.
